WATER POLO COACH (WHOLE SCHOOL)

St Benedict’s is an Independent Catholic School, which seeks to provide a holistic education for boys through full participation in spiritual, academic, sporting, creative and cultural activities. The Board of Governors invites applications for the following posts in the Preparatory School.

Position: Water Polo Coach (Whole School)

Requirements:
● Possess a tertiary qualification in Sports Management and/or related field
● Have at least 5 years’ coaching experience and able to contribute to a variety of sporting codes
● Provincial or national representation as a Water Polo player would be advantageous
● Water Polo refereeing course and knowledge of Water Polo rules
● The coach will be working closely with the Head of Water Polo
● Coordinating, overseeing and attending Water Polo fixtures
● Be willing to arrange tours and tour with teams
● Be an enthusiastic contributor to sports education, tours and the broader school programme
● Offer a range of abilities to the extra-mural and integrated day programmes
● Have good people skills and be able to work positively with boys and parents around sports issues
● Have excellent communication, planning, administrative and organisational skills
● Be willing to participate in the Catholic Ethos of the School
