- Old School Ties (O.S.T.) offers its website as a digital market place to (1) schools in Southern Africa wishing to hire staff and (2) teachers and other school staff looking for employment.
- The browsing of the website is free; the cost structure for the listing of adverts has been implemented since 10 October 2017.
- For the time being, though, O.S.T. provides only a job-listing function and does not accept CVs and other confidential information.
- The process of submitting a vacancy advert is outlined on the LISTING AN ADVERT page. Each new or re-edited submitted advert will normally be displayed within a few hours of posting, but advertisers are to please allow up to two working days. Adverts may be re-viewed by O.S.T. prior to their display, to ensure that they meet the relevant quality requirements.
- Every effort is made to ensure vacancy adverts are displayed correctly, but O.S.T. accepts no responsibility for any errors, omissions or any direct or consequential losses that may occur.
- All vacancy adverts must be for genuine job vacancies.
- O.S.T. shall not be liable for damage of any kind caused by an advert’s inaccurate or non-specific information or by information that is not up-to-date.
- O.S.T. agrees that it will handle any and all personal data received confidentially.
- These Terms & Conditions may be modified without prior notice, and are governed by South African law.
