HEAD OF MUSIC (SGB Post)

Pinehurst Primary School (the ‘Green School’) is a leading co-educational public primary school situated in Pinelands (Cape Town). We have a large, dynamic and active music department. Due to the retirement of our present incumbent, we are looking for a Music HOD (SGB post) starting from April 2027.

Requirements

• B.Mus Ed Degree (or other appropriate music education degree)
• SACE Registered
• Proven administrative ability with the ability to manage part-time teachers within a department
• Experience in teaching class music / performing arts.
• The ability to teach music theory and at least two musical instruments (please state instruments).
• Ensemble, Orchestra and choir experience.
