Early Learning Practitioner

Our established Southern Suburbs Pre-Primary School seeks to employ a nurturing, passionate and qualified Early Childhood Development Teacher to join our vibrant school community. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring a safe, warm and stimulating environment that builds solid foundations to support the holistic development of young children.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lesson Planning: Implementing age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
- Child Development: Monitor and assess individual development, progress, and behavioural milestones
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment
- Communication: Excellent and effective communication to build strong community partnerships with colleagues, children and parents
- Inclusivity: Embrace the inclusive culture that acknowledges, respects and celebrates a proud diversity
Requirements & Qualifications
- SACE Registration: Valid South African Council for Educators (SACE) registration
- Qualification: Bachelor of Education: Foundation Phase / Other appropriate qualification
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a school setting
- Clearances: Valid Police Clearance Certificate and Sexual Offenders Register clearance
- Skills: Team player; strong interpersonal and creative skills
