PTA COORDINATOR
The School seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced PTA Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team.
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
● Promote good relations between the school and parents
● Facilitate parent involvement in school activities and events
● Promote and enhance the profile, vision and strategic plans of the school
● Coordinate and implement effective communication on behalf of the school
● Manage various communication platforms, internally and externally
● Coordinate and support fundraising and outreach initiatives
● Facilitate relations with various service providers, alumnae and other schools
Qualifications and skills:
● Experience in school communications and administration
● Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
● Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
● Digitally literate and competent, especially in Google Workspace
● Work effectively independently and in a team environment
● Promote the values and ethos of a culturally diverse girls’ school
● Align with the school’s transformation objectives
● Highly proficient in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
● Able to work in evenings and on weekends, when necessary
● Relevant communications and/or public relations qualifications would be advantageous
● Must have a valid driver’s licence and own transport
