INTERMEDIATE PHASE – GRADE FOUR (SGB POST)

We invite suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply to join the Sea Point Primary team in Cape Town

Start date: 1 January 2027 l Position: Grade 4 (SGB)

Prospective applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Have a recognised Intermediate Phase & Senior Phase teaching qualification.
• Proficient in English and teaching experience in Afrikaans.
• Can effectively manage a multi-cultural classroom and have the ability to manage multiple subjects effectively.
• Be innovative and knowledgeable of various Intermediate Phase & Senior Phase teaching methodologies.
• Proven experience in planning, assessing and teaching within the CAPS curriculum including differentiation & moderation.
• Computer literate (list proficiency) and equipped to use interactive whiteboard and Google classroom.
• First Aid training.
• Ability to do reporting on Staffroom Admin programme & WCED reporting.
• Expected to offer Extra-Mural sports coaching twice a week.
• Must be passionate about teaching and children.
• Driving licence required and PDP advantageous.
