United Herzlia Schools is a highly successful, independent, community Jewish Day School in Cape Town.

Key requirements/competencies/skills:
● A minimum of a PGCE, B Ed or equivalent, with a specialisation in Mathematics.
● Be registered with SACE.
● Have the required skills and experience to oversee the Mathematics Department in Grades 7 – 12.
● Experience teaching FS Maths (advantageous).
● Strong leadership skills and a track record of leadership.
● Able to work in an environment calling for differentiated teaching including teaching pupils on an educational support programme.
● Be a committed and professional member of a dynamic and energetic team.
● Be able to work with pupils in a nurturing way, in order to develop each one holistically.
● Excellent administration, communication and organisational skills.
● Willingness to participate in the school’s extra mural programme.
● The ability to incorporate technology into teaching practice.
