Sunnylea Pre-Primary School and Aftercare Centre, a established school in Pietermaritzburg, would like to invite applications for the following position:

Pre-Primary School Teacher

A mature and innovative lady with a BEd degree, Foundation Phase.

Training in Psychomotor Education will be to your benefit.

The applicant must be a person who strives to meet the child where they are, always put the child’s first and understand their needs according to their developmental stages.

Job description:

• Adhere to the Code of Conduct specifically for Sunnylea School
• Plan, prepare and deliver CAPS aligned lessons appropriate for the grade you will be teaching.
• It will be expected from you to work at Aftercare once a week.
• Assess, record and report on learner progress.
• Facilitate parent meetings.
