We are seeking an inspiring, forward-thinking Subject Head of Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) to lead our department, elevate our curriculum, and teach Grades 8 through 12.

WHY LEAD EGD AT RONDEBOSCH?

  • Departmental Leadership: Lead, mentor, and shape the EGD and Junior Technology (Graphics) curriculum.
  • Modern Facilities & CAD Integration: Inspire learners using industry-standard CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD) and practical drawing techniques.
  • Holistic Impact: Play a pivotal role in school life through pastoral care, register class support, and our vibrant sports and extra-mural programs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven expertise in teaching EGD to Grade 12 (NSC level).
  • A visionary leader ready to inspire learners in Grades 8–9 Technology, building enthusiasm for senior EGD.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and active SACE registration.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and classroom digital integration (e.g., Google Classroom).
  • NSC EGD marking experience (strongly advantageous).
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the school’s co-curricular and sporting culture. (Ability to coach advantageous)
