Creative Art and Visual Art Educator (Grades 8 to 12)
To assume duty in 2027
We seek an educator who will uphold the values and ethos of our School while delivering quality teaching in Creative Arts and Visual Arts. The successful candidate must be committed to learner success and to developing learners who are confident, articulate, and prepared for life beyond school.
Key Performance Areas: -
- Teach Creative Arts and Visual Arts Grades 8-12 in line with the CAPS curriculum
- Implement effective assessment practices, track learner performance, and provide targeted intervention
- Maintain a disciplined, focused classroom environment that promotes high standards of learning
- Integrate educational technology and online platforms to enhance teaching and learning
- Participate actively in the school’s co-curricular and extramural programme
- Contribute to pastoral care duties and support the holistic development of learners
Minimum Requirements
- Recognised teaching qualification/degree with Creative Arts and Visual Arts as a major subject
- SACE registration – proof must be provided
- Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience
- Sound knowledge of CAPS and NSC assessment requirements
- Competency in using technology in the classroom and on educational online platforms
- Police Clearance Certificate – to be submitted upon appointment
