TEACHING VACANCY: BUSINESS STUDIES/TOURISM/LO
Calling Education has experienced dramatic growth since Calling Academy Stellenbosch opened in 2018. A second Calling Academy opened in Kroonstad in 2022 and a third Calling Academy opened in Paarl in January 2025.
The latest developments in Calling Education has led to an opportunity at Calling Academy Stellenbosch for a teacher of BUSINESS STUDIES/TOURISM and/or LIFE ORIENTATION.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The successful applicant will be required to teach the above-mentioned subjects in the FET band as well as being the subject head. Other teaching duties and extramural activities will be part of the responsibilities and will be discussed with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate should:
- Be suitably qualified to teach these subjects in the FET phase.
- Be committed and innovative, while maintaining a high level of professional excellence.
- Be SACE-registered or be in the process of obtaining registration.
- Have a passion for teaching in a redemptive industry in the South African context.
- Have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Be excited about the school’s vision and supportive of its Christian ethos.
REMUNERATION:
Calling Education has its own competitive salary scale. The salary for this position will, in part, depend on the credentials of the successful candidate.
