VACANCY: AFRIKAANS EERSTE ADDISIONELE TAAL (EAT) ONDERWYSER (SGB-POS)
Cape Town High School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, motivated, and passionate educator to teach Afrikaans Eerste Addisionele Taal (EAT) in the FET and Senior Phases.
POSITION DETAILS
This is a School Governing Body (SGB) post, available as a short-term contract.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence duties ASAP, and the contract will run until the end of the 2026 academic year.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A recognized teaching qualification (REQV 13 or higher), with a specialization in Afrikaans.
- Current registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
- Proven ability to teach Afrikaans EAT from Grade 8 to Grade 12.
- Sound knowledge of the CAPS curriculum for the FET phase is essential.
- Competency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom
