Qualifications, Experience, Attributes and Competencies required:

• A Bachelors’ degree majoring in Afrikaans and a post graduate teaching diploma in teaching Afrikaans First Additional Language OR a B.Ed degree majoring in Afrikaans First Additional Language
• Preferably at least three years’ teaching experience at Grade Twelve level
• Adept at using technology in the classroom
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• A team player with a desire to be part of a vibrant Afrikaans Department
• Ability to teach a second subject offered by the School
• Willingness to contribute to the holistic curriculum of the School
• Registered with SACE
