The Gaia Waldorf School is situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Cape Town. With Table Mountain in the background, ample shade giving trees and the Liesbeek River behind the school you have the sense that you in a world made for Waldorf Education. Horses, chickens and a village garden complete this picture of rural beauty right in the middle of a busy city.
Gaia was founded to make Waldorf education accessible to children across the vast economic spectrum and not just within reach of the privileged. As such we draw children from different socio-economic backgrounds. A testament to its diversity is that Gaia was hailed as the most diverse Waldorf School in South Africa (teachers conference 2019).
We offer a Playgroup, Kindergarten, and a Primary School from Class 1 to Class 7.
