Tate International School
Overview
The world is evolving at a rapid pace… and so is education. So much of what we know today will be irrelevant in 10, 15 or 20 years time. At Tate, we pride ourselves in challenging our students to think for themselves, in asking questions and not accepting ideas at face value.
Our small class sizes allows for debating of topics, as well as interesting approaches to learning new concepts. Take fossil fuel as an example. Can your child hold a conversation about the future scarcity of fuel sources? What do they think will be possible solutions? How about a Van Gogh painting? Do they know who the other prominent artists of the time were?
Why are these things important? Well, they shape young minds to think independently and to find solutions that are creative and new – an essential in a world where information becomes antiquated quickly. Moreover, the exposure to various subjects and areas, allows our students to find where their niche and areas of interest are, in turn allowing them to hone their own special skill sets.
