PREPARATORY SCHOOL CLASS MUSIC TEACHER - To start: January 2026
St Cyprian’s School invites applications for a passionate and dynamic Preparatory/Pre-Primary
School Class Music Teacher to join our vibrant Music Department from January 2026. This is a
wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a lifelong love
of music in young learners within an inclusive, supportive, and creative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver engaging class music lessons to preparatory and pre-primary pupils
- Lead choral training and develop students’ vocal abilities
- Provide piano accompaniment for school assemblies and events
- Plan, teach, and coordinate major school functions, including Carol Services,
Pre-Primary Nativity Plays, and Founders Day Services
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music (essential)
- Proven experience in piano accompaniment and choral leadership
- Experience in teaching singing, with a versatile approach across musical styles
- Familiarity with Kodály and/or Orff teaching methodologies
- Collaborative team player with a track record of inspiring and supporting colleagues and
students - SACE registration (required)
