PART-TIME CELLO TEACHER
Description
The Grove Primary seeks to employ a Part-Time Western Classically trained Cello Teacher, to join our dynamic, vibrant and innovative music department.
The successful candidate should:
- Be a Western Classically trained Cello specialist - Proficiency in accompaniment will be advantageous
- Be in possession of a relevant music qualification
- Have proof of a recent police clearance certificate (cleared against the Criminal Clearance Register, cleared against the Child Protection Register, cleared against the Sexual Register)
- Have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience across beginner to advanced levels
- Have experience in preparing pupils for external competitions and examinations such as Trinity College, Royal Schools or UNISA
- Be able to direct/conduct ensembles
This position is effective from January 2026.
