Position: Junior Intermediate Phase Teacher (with strong remedial support focus)

Location: Apex Stellenbosch, Koelenhof Road (R304), Stellenbosch
Type: Full-Time | On-site | 2026 Start

Key Responsibilities
 Teach core Intermediate Phase curriculum
 Provide small-group and one-on-one remedial support to close academic gaps.
 Use assessment data to reteach, scaffold, and adjust instruction.
 Foster an encouraging, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
 Collaborate closely with phase team and support staff to ensure consistent learning routines.
 Use technology intentionally to reinforce reading, numeracy, and concept mastery.
 Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Qualifications & Requirements
 BEd Foundation Phase OR BEd Intermediate Phase
 SACE registration (or evidence that registration is underway).
 Experience supporting second-language learners and/or remedial instruction is advantageous.
 Confident in using digital learning tools and platforms.
 Strong communication skills in English (isiXhosa or Afrikaans an advantage).
