Camps Bay Primary is a co-educational school located in the heart of Camps Bay serving over 450 children from Grade R to Grade 7. Established in 1906, the school has a proud history spanning 119 years. It is a diverse school and one which seeks to remain relevant as the world changes.

The school invites suitably qualified and experienced teachers to apply for the following position:

Intermediate Phase Class Teacher – Grade 6

Governing Body Position Fixed Term - 1 January to 30 June 2026

Expectations:

• A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
• Be a person of integrity, with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching in different grades in the Intermediate Phase.
• Exposure to leading a grade will be an advantage.
• Have a sound knowledge of current trends and best practice.
• Excellent classroom management that encourages and motivates learners to be the very best they can be.
• Competence in terms of computer literacy.
• Willingness to become actively involved in the extramural activities of the school.
• Energetic, committed and reliable.
• Fully support the ethos of the school.
• Appropriate Teaching qualification.
• SACE registered.
• Police Clearance.
