GRADE 5 TEACHER (ENGLISH)

Disa Primary School is a public school, located in Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay, supported by the Andreas and Susan Struengmann Foundation.

The School is seeking to employ a qualified, experienced Grade 5 Classroom teacher, specialising in English, to engage in class teaching, including the academic, administrative, educational, disciplinary and reporting aspects and to participate in extra and co-curricular activities.

Commencing: 1 January - 1 April 2025

The successful candidate must have:

• Relevant Educational Qualification with English
• South African Council of Educators (SACE) registration;
• Skills in teaching the CAPS curriculum;
• A commitment to a developmental approach and to continuous learning;
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and computer skills;
• The ability to work as part of a dynamic team, and
• Experience in using multimedia teaching methods (Google Suite training advantageous).
