Jeppe Girls seeks the services of a full-time voice and piano teacher with a passion for music education to work under the auspices of our Music department.


  • Teaching individual voice lessons (Western Art Music syllabus)
  • Teaching individual piano lessons
  • Theory and/or General Music Knowledge group classes
  • Keep students excited and motivated to learn, practise and achieve their full potential
  • All general administrative tasks as per school requirements
  • Involvement in the Music department extra-mural program
  • Prepare students for concerts, examinations and performances
  • The ability to train and conduct a choir would be to the advantage of the applicant

Minimum requirements

  • BMus degree or suitable Music qualification
  • Sound musical knowledge of tutor books, repertoire and teaching methods for voice and piano
  • Understanding of teaching students with different styles of learning and from a variety of backgrounds
  • Well-developed communication, planning and organisational skills
  • PGCE and a SACE number would be an advantage
