Position: Grade 8 and 9 Mathematics and Natural Sciences Teacher
Location: Apex Pinelands, Conradie Park
Type: Full-Time

You won’t need to design lessons from scratch—our curriculum and digital learning platform provide high-quality resources. Instead, you’ll specialize in closing learning gaps, reteaching key concepts, and supporting students to master content through innovative, interactive, and student-cantered teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate high-impact reteaching sessions based on learner performance data
- Use a variety of strategies to scaffold learning for second-language speakers
- Provide targeted small-group instruction and one-on-one support
- Track progress, assess conceptual understanding, and respond with appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with team members, facilitators, and online platform coordinators
- Foster a classroom culture that is inclusive, respectful, and academically ambitious
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Maths or Sciences or a related field, with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- SACE registration (or proof of registration in progress).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching Mathematics and Natural Sciecnces, preferably in a multilingual or second-language context.
- Experience in reteaching, intervention, or learner support roles is strongly recommended.
- Familiarity with CAPS English HL curriculum (Grades 8–10).
- NSC marking experience is an advantage.
