Edgemead High School – SGB Mathematics Educator Vacancy

Edgemead High School, a dynamic, value-driven, and progressive school, is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Educator to join our team commencing 1st April 2025

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant degree with a PGCE or B.Ed. FET with Mathematics as a major.

Beneficial Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience teaching Mathematics at Grade 12 level.
• Strong knowledge of the NSC curriculum, assessment practices, and internal moderation.
• Registered with SACE
• PDP would be beneficial

• Self-motivated, organised, and committed to upholding the school’s ethos.
• Excellent communication skills and command of English.
• Willing to attend relevant training
• Contribute actively to extra- and co-curricular activities (including after-hours commitments).
• Tech-savvy with a passion for modern teaching methods.

Required Clearances:

• Name clearance certificate or proof of application
• Sexual offender clearance certificate or proof of application

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a formal interview, written assessment, and teaching demonstration.
