SENIOR COLLEGE
Music Teacher- (CIE & IEB) Grade 8 - 12
We seek a dynamic, innovative and experienced Senior College Music Teacher to start on the 21st of July 2025 (locum/short term) OR full-time from January 2026.
The successful candidate would meet the following requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education.
- SACE Registered
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Music, preferably within the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, performance, and composition
- Teach Music across Key Stages in alignment with the Cambridge Curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theoretical lessons
- Prepare students for Cambridge assessments (IGCSE/A Level as applicable)
- Organize and lead musical performances, ensembles, and extracurricular activities
- Foster an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and whole-school events
- Advanced pianist able to accompany individual students and choir.
