Position: Junior isiXhosa First Additional Language Teacher (Grade 8–10)
Location: Apex Stellenbosch, Koelenhof Road (R304), Stellenbosch
Type: Full-Time | On-site | 2026 Start

What Makes This Role Unique
 You will not be expected to create full lesson programs alone.
 You will receive coaching, classroom support, and access to resources.
 Your core focus will be:
o Guiding learners in reading, speaking, and writing isiXhosa
o Supporting learners through small-group and one-on-one intervention

Key Responsibilities
 Teach isiXhosa FAL in Grades 8–10 using provided curriculum materials.
 Facilitate reteaching and literacy support sessions based on learner needs.
 Create a warm, structured, inclusive classroom environment.
 Work collaboratively with teachers, facilitators, and the academic team.
 Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching.

Ideal Candidate Profile
 BEd (Senior Phase or FET) OR PGCE with strong isiXhosa literacy focus
 SACE registration (or proof of application in progress).
 Fluent and accurate spoken and written isiXhosa and English.

Other Requirements
 Must have reliable transport.
 This is an on-site role.
