Position: Junior isiXhosa First Additional Language Teacher (Grade 8–10)
Location: Apex Stellenbosch, Koelenhof Road (R304), Stellenbosch
Type: Full-Time | On-site | 2026 Start

What Makes This Role Unique
You will not be expected to create full lesson programs alone.
You will receive coaching, classroom support, and access to resources.
Your core focus will be:
o Guiding learners in reading, speaking, and writing isiXhosa
o Supporting learners through small-group and one-on-one intervention
Key Responsibilities
Teach isiXhosa FAL in Grades 8–10 using provided curriculum materials.
Facilitate reteaching and literacy support sessions based on learner needs.
Create a warm, structured, inclusive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, facilitators, and the academic team.
Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching.
Ideal Candidate Profile
BEd (Senior Phase or FET) OR PGCE with strong isiXhosa literacy focus
SACE registration (or proof of application in progress).
Fluent and accurate spoken and written isiXhosa and English.
Other Requirements
Must have reliable transport.
This is an on-site role.
