Physical Science (IGCSE and A-Level) Teacher needed – Madagascar

Job Description

Join our client's team (in Madagascar) as a Physical Teacher (IGCSE and A-Level), where you will have a significant impact on the academic development of students in Grades 9 to 12. As a Physics Teacher, your primary responsibilitIes will include delivering dynamic and hands-on lessons that cover a comprehensive high school physical science curriculum. You will be tasked with creating an engaging learning environment that promotes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a passion for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a challenging and comprehensive high school physics curriculum
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and foster a love for
  • science
  • Facilitate laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations to enhance students' hands-on understanding of physical science concepts
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through regular quizzes, examinations, and projects
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and enriching academic environment
  • Provide support and guidance to students, promoting a positive attitude towards learning and curiosity about the world of science


  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field
  • Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of physical science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational trends

Flight and Relocation:

Health Insurance:

Our package includes comprehensive local health insurance through OSTIE (Organization Sanitaire Tananarivienne Inter-Enterprises), which encompasses medical, dental, and vision benefits within Madagascar. Additionally, we cover the cost of Medical Evacuation (Med-Evac) services. However, please note that our health insurance coverage does not extend outside of Madagascar.

Paid Leave:
