About Apex Stellenbosch
We’re a low-fee private high school (opened January 2024) using a blended learning model: online lessons + face-to-face support. You’ll help make that classroom magic happens every day.
What you’ll do
- Support the Blended Learning teacher with daily routines, basic admin, and keeping the class on track.
- Help learners navigate the LMS and complete online lessons.
- Explain CAPS concepts in simple, friendly language.
- Pitch in with basic data tasks (marking, capturing, checking progress).
- Be a calm, positive classroom presence.
Who we’re looking for
- Matric (required).
- Studying BEd/PGCE (distance or part-time)? Big plus.
- Any experience with teens (tutoring, coaching, youth work) is helpful.
- Comfortable with computers/Chromebooks and learning new platforms.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and eager to grow.
- Great communicator who brings energy and initiative.
No formal teaching experience needed — we’ll coach you.
Practical bits
- Site-based at Apex High Stellenbosch (R304).
- Must have reliable transport.
- Final stages of recruitment will include a criminal check.
