Camps Bay Primary is a co-educational school located in the heart of Camps Bay serving over 450 children from Grade R to Grade 7. Established in 1906, the school has a proud history spanning 116 years. It is a diverse school and one which seeks to remain relevant as the world changes.

The school invites suitably qualified and experienced teachers for the following position:


Camps Bay Primary School is looking for a dynamic team player with excellent organisational skills to drive the development of our music department. The candidate must be a suitably qualified music teacher able to teach from beginners to highly skilled pupils. Your ability and willingness to be involved in all the performing arts could be an advantage.

This is a full-time post.


  • Teaching individual music lessons
  • Coordination of all music events including assemblies and concert•
  • Responsibility for all music equipment
  • Offering individual or group music lessons
  • Responsible for management of choir and bands
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required as part of the greater staff team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in teaching Music in Primary Schools
  • Teaching qualification
  • SACE registered
  • Police Clearance
