Description

The International School of Martyrs (ISM) is the largest international school in Libya and the oldest international school in North Africa, having opened in 1954 as the Oil Companies School to educate the children of oil executives and diplomats posted to Libya.

Our school is accredited by the Irish Department of Education and the State Examinations Commission and we are currently seeking authorisation to offer the IB Diploma Programme.

We are seeking a resilient and committed Elementary School Class Teacher to join us in January 2026.

The successful candidate will:
● Be a qualified teacher (Bachelor of Education OR Undergraduate degree + PGCE OR HDE) with valid professional registration (e.g. SACE registration)
● Be fluent in both written and spoken English
● Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
