PART TIME DRAMA TEACHER FOR SENIOR PHASE (GRADE 7 - 9)
Growing Minds is a fast growing, registered, independent, inclusive school situated in Gardens, Cape Town. It offers small classes, a progressive, education using CAPS as a guideline and individualised learning. An exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced drama teacher has become available.
The present position requires the the following hours during WCED school terms.
- Grade 8: Wednesday 14h00 - 15h00
- Grade 9: Wednesday 13h00 - 14h00
The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate adaptability, creativity and recognize the importance of establishing independent and active learning. A commitment to progressive teaching environment, working as part of a team with an inclusive environment and an flexible approach will be critical.
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Matric Certificate
- Previous experience teaching drama within a high school environment
- Must be familiar with the CAPS curriculum requirements
- Computer literacy and fluency in English
- SACE registration with police clearance certificate
- Must be presently residing in Cape Town
