ART EDUCATOR POST

SGB 1 YEAR CONTRACT

1st January 2026 to 31st December 2026

The compulsory requirements are as follows:

  • Ability to teach and assess Visual Arts Grade 1 – 3 as well as Creative Arts Grade 4 – 6
  • B. Ed Degree or recognised Teaching Diploma specialising in Art/Drama/Music
  • SACE registration or proof thereof
  • At least 1 year experience in a primary school; Computer confident and literate
  • Knowledge of the CAPS Life Skills: Creative Arts Curriculum
  • Manage the Art Budget for the year
  • Plan art activities around the school as well as participate in competitions
  • Updated CV with at least 2 recent contactable referees
